We launched TOP Community, an industry wide alliance connecting people of colour working in the industry.

In partnership with the Fashion Business School at London College of Fashion, we held the first biannual meeting for the group, which will function much like an industry-wide ERG. ERGs are employee-led groups designed to unite underrepresented groups, foster camaraderie and promote inclusivity within companies.

The group comprises of about 50 fashion-industry professionals from brands such as Alexander McQueen, Chanel, asos, and Burberry, working in functions like merchandising, marketing, human resources, and sales. The members, who hold roles ranging from junior to C-suite level, were nominated by their respective companies.

Our programme cohort spent the morning learning more about Tiffany&Co, at their flagship EMEA store. From developing retail experiences to the artists and craftspeople behind the iconic collections. The programme cohort were given the opportunity to meaningfully discover our partner Tiffany&Co.

At the Walpole UK British luxury summit, at The Londoner, we were joined by #TOPpartners Geoffrey Williams, Global Vice President of DEI Burberry, Helen Beard, HR Director at Mulberry England and Helen Smith, Joint CEO, Dorchester Collection on a panel, moderated by Kirsty McGregor, Executive European Editor at Vogue Business.

The Outsiders Perspective programme 4 has come to a close - a series of educational talks, panels and workshops for those wishing to transition into fashion, beauty and luxury.

From industry overviews and career transition coaching to accelerating network connections and building a community, together, we create the opportunity for direct action within fashion, beauty and luxury, placing professional talent into vital roles.

We hosted an intimate screening of Untold Stories: Hair on Set at White City House.

British actress Fola Evans-Akinbola goes behind the cameras to uncover the untold story of Afro Hair on film, speaking to a cast of stars who faced emotional struggles when set crews did not meet their hair needs: Directed By Fola Evans-Akingbola and Jordon Pitt.

The audience heard from the Director and producers on there journey and how this need for consideration might apply to the fashion world.

Our network event where our Cohort 2 candidates meet with Senior representatives from our brand partners, held at the TewntyTwo.

The Outsiders Perspective co-hosted an event with The Business of Fashion on how fashion can accelerate change for an inclusive and representative workforce. Jamie Gill was joined on panel with Ben de Pfeiffer-Key, Capri Holdings Limited global diversity & Inclusion Manager, Sophie Soar, Commercial Features Manager at BoF and Sharlene John, Head of Recruitment at Selfridges.

Our second networking event where our cohort of candidates meet with Senior representatives from our brand partners, held at the Vesper Bar at the Dorchester Hotel.

Our TOP Evening workshop series for Cohort 1, where candidates get to hear from Industry leaders on the nuances of working in Fashion & Luxury, current macro-economic trends and the transferrable skills needed to succeed.
